Part Overview
- Content: Reference Material
- Synopsis: Detailed explanations of how demons interact with humans, including demonic oppression and supernatural miracles.
- Themes:
- Demons are experts in humanity. They understand the human mind and body well enough to successfully influence thoughts, emotions, and physical health. This sometimes occurs through direct control of the human body.
- Demons can produce miracles. Not every miracle is divine in origin. The hallmarks of a demonic miracle include deception and opposition to biblical truths. Demons sometimes empower occult practices with supernatural miracles in order to drive practitioners and adherents away from God.
- Sin has real consequences. Demons encourage sinful behavior because this opposes the righteous behavior God desires from human beings. While demonization is a potential consequence of sin, that outcome is entirely up to God. Nevertheless, the concepts of sin and repentance are very important when discussing demons.
